Modular fixturing from Carr Lane is ideal for temporary fixturing. Use this wide selection of tooling components for one-time jobs, short or prototype production runs, trial fixturing or while permanent fixtures are built or repaired.

Three sizes of modular components are available: mini, with 1/2"-diameter holes and 5/16-18 threads; standard, with 1/2"-diameter holes and 1/2-13 threads; and heavy, with 5/8"-diameter holes and 5/8-11 threads.

Finish-ground modular tooling plates and blocks have multipurpose positioning holes at regular intervals. Options include round, rectangular, square, platform and angle tooling plates, along with two-sided, four-sided and window tooling blocks. Most of these items allow both JIS mounting (locating from two reference edges) and DIN mounting (locating from center and radial holes) with excellent accuracy.

A variety of fixtures can be assembled from a small assortment of modular components.

Economical starter sets include enough popular components to build one to four fixtures. Add tooling plates or blocks and additional locators, clamps and mounting accessories for specific machining center applications. Power workholding components are also available from Carr Lane for use with modular fixturing.
